Bottom Hinge Repair Kit For Volkswagon Transporter T5 / T6 Cup Holder

3d printed replacement bottom hinges for your transporter Cup Holder.

Repair kits will be sent in black unless otherwise stated. The bright fluorescent yellow is for clarification/photos only.

These are glued in place once the area has been suitably prepared.

Saw down keeping the blade as close to the side as possible on both sides of the cup holder.

Then remove what is left around the shaft axis with a file as this is what the replacement will sit against.

Check the fit of the replacements with just the hinge without the spring and if you feel any resistance, file a bit more from around the shaft axis. (it should be a smooth blend to the top)

Apply a very thin layer of epoxy adhesive (clean look) or superglue (messy look) and apply the new hinge mounts.

When cured, re-assemble your cup holders with springs and enjoy.
